Modern Lightroom presets are usually XMP files. The same file can serve Lightroom Classic and the cloud-based Lightroom desktop app; mobile access normally arrives through synchronization.
Before installing anything, unzip the download and keep the original files in a folder you control. This makes reinstalling or moving computers much easier.
Lightroom Classic
Open the Develop module, find the Presets panel, choose the plus menu, and select Import Presets. Select the XMP files or a supported ZIP supplied by the creator. The new group should appear in the panel.
Open a Fujifilm RAW file and apply one preset. If it is missing, confirm that you imported the extracted XMP rather than a nested download folder. Restart Lightroom only after checking the panel and import result.
Lightroom desktop and mobile
In Lightroom desktop, open a photograph, display Presets, use the menu to import, and select the XMP. When synchronization is enabled on the same Adobe account, the preset should become available in Lightroom mobile.
If mobile does not update, confirm that desktop synchronization has completed and that the phone uses the same account. DNG-based installation is a separate legacy workflow and should be used only when the download specifically requires it.
Verify the result on a RAW file
Use a RAF file rather than a finished JPEG for the first test. Apply the preset and check Exposure, White Balance, and Profile. A restrained preset may intentionally leave all three unchanged.
Then adjust exposure for the subject and white balance for a familiar surface. The preset establishes direction; those two corrections make it belong to the photograph.
Keep presets organized
Use one clearly named group per creator or project. Remove duplicates only after confirming which copy is current. Preserve the original download and license outside Lightroom.
A small trusted library is faster than hundreds of near-identical options. Build favorites around the light and subjects you actually photograph.
